The key difference is groove angle and pitch: American Classical V-belt sheaves (A/B/C sections) use a 38° groove angle, while European narrow V-belt pulleys (SPZ/SPA/SPB/SPC) use 34° to 40° angles depending on the groove width. Mixing standards causes belt-to-groove mismatch, accelerated belt wear, and reduced drive efficiency. Our engineers confirm the correct standard before production.

What surface treatments are available to prevent rust in agricultural use?

For agricultural and outdoor environments, we offer phosphating, powder coat (60–80µm), dacromet coating, and zinc electroplating. For extremely corrosive conditions, stainless steel or hot-dip galvanizing may be specified. We recommend the appropriate treatment based on your operating environment.
