Agricultural Machinery Hydraulic Cylinder
HangZhou Ever Power Transmission Co. Ltd. engineers heavy-duty hydraulic cylinders for every segment of modern agricultural machinery — from row-crop tractors and grain combine harvesters to corn pickers and high-density balers. With 20+ years of OEM/ODM manufacturing experience, ISO 9001 certification, and chrome-plated piston rods tested to 1,000-hour salt-spray resistance, we deliver cylinders rated to 35 MPa / 5,000 PSI that perform through harvest season’s harshest duty cycles.

Product Lines — Select by Machine Type
Each product line corresponds to one machine category. Cylinder geometry, duty cycle, and seal requirements differ significantly between a tractor three-point hitch cylinder and a baler compression cylinder — grouping by machine type is the most direct way to find the right starting point.

Farm Tractor Hydraulic Cylinder
Designed for 3-point hitch lift arms and front-loader booms. Bore sizes from 40–160 mm; double-acting configuration; rated to 25 MPa. Compatible with AGCO, CNH, and major tractor OEM mounting patterns.

Hydraulic Cylinders for Agricultural Equipment
Agricultural hydraulic cylinders convert system pressure into the linear force that raises implements, controls header position, drives compression mechanisms, and handles the dozens of actuated functions built into modern farm equipment. Unlike general-purpose industrial cylinders, agricultural units operate in environments with abrasive soil contact, crop debris ingestion, wide seasonal temperature swings, and continuous vibration — conditions that drive specific requirements around seal compound selection, rod surface treatment, and wiper geometry.
What this product group covers
This page lists our four agricultural cylinder product lines. Each line covers the cylinders specific to that machine type — typical bore and stroke ranges, mounting configurations, and the functional positions these cylinders serve on the equipment.
If you need a cylinder for a machine not listed here, contact us with the bore, stroke, working pressure, and mounting details. We handle inquiries outside these standard lines on a custom-quotation basis.

Selection
What You Need to Specify a Cylinder
Five parameters define a hydraulic cylinder for agricultural use. Providing these at first contact allows us to return a quotation with minimal back-and-forth. For replacement fitments, a sample or OEM part number covers most of this automatically.
Load
Maximum push and pull force in operation. For implement-lift, include the weight of the attachment and any dynamic load factor.
Stroke
Required travel from retracted to fully extended. Note whether full extension is used in normal operation.
System Pressure
Relief valve setting of the hydraulic system. Confirm if pressure spikes occur and their approximate magnitude.
Mounting Dimensions
For replacements: pin-to-pin retracted and extended, pin hole diameters, clearance constraints. For new designs: attachment point locations and dimensional envelope.
Operating Environment
Temperature range, exposure to crop debris or sprays, and whether the cylinder sits in a contamination-prone position (close to ground, under header).
Product Lines — Select by Machine Type

What information is needed to request a quotation for an agricultural hydraulic cylinder?
For a new design, provide: bore diameter, rod diameter, stroke, working pressure, mounting configuration, port thread standard, and cylinder action (single or double). For a replacement cylinder, a dimensional drawing, sample cylinder, or OEM part number is sufficient to begin. Additional details about operating environment and annual volume help us determine the appropriate manufacturing approach.
Do you support OEM production with custom specifications?
Yes. We accept OEM orders based on customer drawings, 3D models, or sample units. Cylinders can be produced to your dimensional and performance specification, with your preferred marking, packaging, and documentation requirements. NDA agreements can be arranged for proprietary designs.
What hydraulic fluid types are compatible with your seal options?
Standard agricultural equipment uses mineral-based hydraulic oil (ISO VG 46 or 68), which is compatible with NBR and polyurethane seals — our default for most agricultural cylinder orders. If your equipment uses synthetic fluids, biodegradable hydraulic fluid, or fire-resistant fluid, specify this at the quotation stage so the correct seal compound is selected. FKM seals are available for higher-temperature or chemically aggressive applications.
What port thread standards do your agricultural cylinders use?
We supply cylinders with BSP (common in Europe and Australia), NPT (North America), SAE straight thread O-ring ports, and metric threads. Specify your regional standard at the time of order. If your machine uses a non-standard fitting, provide the thread spec and we will confirm availability.
Can you supply replacement cylinders for existing agricultural equipment?
Yes. We produce replacement cylinders for farm tractors, combines, corn harvesters, and balers. If you provide a sample or the OEM part number, we can measure and match the key dimensions — particularly the retracted length, extended length, pin hole diameters, and port positions. Seal kits are selected to match the original specification where this information is available.
What is the typical lead time for agricultural hydraulic cylinder orders?
Lead time depends on order volume, cylinder complexity, and raw material availability at the time of order. Standard agricultural cylinder configurations are generally faster to produce than fully custom designs. Please contact us with your specific requirement and target date — we will confirm lead time and any options to expedite if your schedule is time-sensitive.
Do you supply seal repair kits separately?
Seal kits for cylinders we have produced are available. If you are resealing a cylinder from another source, provide the bore diameter, rod diameter, and seal groove dimensions and we will advise on compatible seal kit configurations where possible.
